My War To Take Back The American Dream

I am declaring today War on War, Corporations and Poverty. Why? Because it needs to be done. And I can do it. Words are mightier than swords, so that is my weapon of choice. It will be a war of reality, hope and success all in the name of a better life for us. A War to Take Back The American Dream.

About the War on Corporations. It will be great fun to take on the corporations. To shine a light on their weak underbellies and reduce their power. If corporations were indeed people, they would be sociopaths — soulless, greedy and evil beings that go around sucking the life out of us. Then they throw out bodies on the pile and use up others. They make us do the work of 2, 3 and 4 previous employees. They make us be available 24/7 with cell phones and laptops reach. They pay us less, and we are always fearful of losing our jobs — miserable though they are.

About the War on War. This is naturally a more serious aspect. But it has honor. It will make us feel good to stall war profiteering and expose flawed strategies. Soldiers bravely go into battle for us out of a sense of duty to us and their fellow troops. But we do not share more than passing thoughts with them. A few words in Congress, from the President and in the news might catch our attention. But war today is sanitized and bleached out of its reality. So I will show photos in living color. I will bring reality in the form of explosions, injury and, yes, death. Why? Because we must see the consequences of actions and the value of a life.

About the War on Poverty. Our middle-class is riddled with holes like Swiss cheese until it threatens to collapse upon itself. There is no such thing as work security. A person can get great reviews one day and downsized the next. We have twice the number of homeless people as there was in the Great Depression. But those who oppress our stability are like massive reptiles, lurking in the dark, so we can pretend they are not there. We need our American Dream back.

I will study their strategies, take out my words and wield them in battle to win back the American Dream. I hope you will join me.
